I'm addicted to my Filofax and Carpe Diem planners, and I also create custom inserts and stickers for planners. 2019 Inserts are now in my shop!

In my spare time you can find me gaming/creating on SNW.

LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE 32 – COLOR INSPIRATION!
LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE 32 – COLOR INSPIRATION!

I decided to participate in another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This time it's a colour challenge:

LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE 32 – COLOR INSPIRATION!

LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE 32 – COLOR INSPIRATION!

I was in luck here because I recently purchased a couple of Distress Oxide ink pads to try out. And I have to say I absolutely LOVE these! I got myself Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean, Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover. And I ended up using all 4 in this challenge.

In this challenge I also used some white embossing powder, which I also recently purchased. I have used various embossing powders before (though most of them were glittery) and it never really worked well for me. But this time it came out really nice.

I used my new Lawn Fawn: Upon A Star clear stamps (love love loooove them). I wasn't sure if I could fit in all the colours from the challenge, but I think I did pretty good! I incorporated the blue hues in the background, I used green in the grass hill, and I used orange for the little fox and yellow for the bunny.

Oh and for the finishing touch, I used Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables dies, some square shaped dies and I used the Stitched Trails dies for the background (and for the grass too).

This card will go to my hubby. It may sound cliché, but he's my rock. He's been handling so much lately, because I'm struggling a lot with my health, the kids, my work etc. And I feel he really deserves it. The text on the inside is also funny to us, since our toddler Quinn loves the "Mr Tumble's Shine Song" from Justin Fletcher (Something Special), which has the "You're a Shining Star" line in it.

I think this might just be my best card yet! What do you think?

I love how the colors turned out so great on the card! You would expect that with this stamp set, if you get what I mean.

Thanks Peter 😊 Yeah I'm really pleased with the result. I think the blue works great for the sky, especially with the white embossing powder! 😍
